President Franklin D. Roosevelt once remarked, “We are a nation of many nationalities, cultures, religions, bond together with common bond, the bond of freedom and equality.” With this spirit in mind, The New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir, Inc. was founded 19 years ago with the sole objective of providing a common forum that would promote the Arya/Hindu culture, and to serve the educational, cultural, religious, charitable, and social needs of the Arya/Hindu immigrant population that lives in New Jersey, and the United States. The organization also embarked on humanitarian mission to help the less fortunate in Guyana and we also intend to help other countries as we grow with your support. In this great country of our adoption, you can be an American without losing your cultural roots and identity. It is important for us to show our next generation how to stay in touch with our great culture and heritage.

The New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir, Inc. has organized many cultural, religious, charitable, and social events in the past years. Our aim of providing the Guyanese-American community with a common forum for social, cultural, educational, charitable and social community affairs, with a universal Guyanese appeal has been very well recognized over the years in the tri-state area and by the Unites States Government. We are proud to say that our organization has been on the fore front on the matters of bringing the community together when it comes to the question of keeping our cultural heritage alive and passing it on to our next generation so that they may pass it on to their next generation. This process must continue from generation to generation because it’s the only way of retaining cultural heritage.

The New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir has been and continues to address the desperate situations of the less fortunate children in the orphanages in Guyana. We are currently involved in charitable events, such as this one today, ‘The Arya Swaranjali,” that would support this humanitarian mission. We are so grateful to all its members and the general public without whose help and continued support it would not have been possible to expand on these missions. We are especially thankful to the community at large for their generous contributions, and that includes all of you, who have joined us in making this event possible. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy this evening’s program and keep up your enthusiasm and support.

The New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir, Inc. will be forever grateful to all those individuals who have entertained us with their remarkable talent and skills today and may God bless each one of you.

Thank you for your support and faith in our organization.
New Jersey Arya Samaj Mandir, Inc.
